Monarc Build, LLC, Annapolis, Maryland, doing business as White Tape. Updated November 5, 2026. Plain words on purpose; the plain words are the terms.
Rows of building permit records, as the issuing office published them, with the contractor of record on every row we sell. We read, fold into one schema, and hand over. We do not change an office's facts, and we do not warrant that an office got them right. A row that is wrong at the source is wrong here; tell us at hello@whitetape.io and we re-read the office.
Counts are free. The first ten rows a month per caller are free with nothing asked. After that, 7 cents a row, paid by card for a spreadsheet or a prepaid link, or per call by wallet (x402, USDC on Base). The price shows before any charge. A code hands out rows at no charge; a code is good for one email, the first to redeem it, and we may void a code that is being farmed.
A prepaid link is a bearer balance: whoever holds the link spends it. Keep it like cash. We cannot resend a lost link. Balances do not expire and do not merge. A pull is kept for seven days under its session or token for a free re-download.
A row delivered is a row sold; there are no refunds on delivered rows. A charge with no rows behind it, a double charge, or a file that never came is refunded in full. Write hello@whitetape.io with the checkout or the link.
Use them to run your business: find the job, call the contractor of record, bid the work, plan the route. Share them inside your company. What you may not do: resell the rows as a dataset, republish them as a feed or a site, or use them to build a competing permit product. Calling the people on a row is on you: follow the telemarketing and do-not-call rules where you call.
The homeowner's name and the applicant's name are never collected and never sold. A row carries the permit, the property, the work, the valuation where the office lists it, and the contractor of record.
The API is open to any program under the same prices, with a rate limit per address. Do not scrape whitetape.io's pages; the API is the door. Our readers only ever read what an office publishes to the public, never behind a login, and stop at any bot check.
White Tape is sold as is. Our whole liability to you, for anything, is what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for a lost job, a wrong number, or a decision you made on a row.
What we keep and why is on the privacy page. An email left on a page joins a list under the sentence you pressed Accept beneath; write stop and it stops.
Maryland law governs, and its courts hear any dispute. We may change these terms; the date at the top moves when we do, and the change applies to purchases after it. Questions: hello@whitetape.io.
